At John Sutton State Farm in Elgin, we’re expanding our team and looking for a licensed, driven, and experienced financial services professional with a proven track record in life insurance and financial product sales. If you're currently with a firm like Edward Jones, New York Life, or another brokerage and are looking for greater flexibility, higher earning potential, and a more entrepreneurial environment—this may be the move you've been waiting for.

What You’ll Do:

  • Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities for life insurance, annuities, and other financial service products

  • Build lasting relationships with individuals, families, and small business owners in the Elgin area

  • Deliver personalized recommendations through comprehensive financial needs analysis

  • Educate clients on State Farm’s suite of financial and insurance products

  • Work in a collaborative, high-performing office environment with strong back-office support

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in life insurance or financial services sales

  • Active Illinois Life/Health license required

  • FINRA Series  6, 63 and 65 preferred

  • Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and closing skills

  • Bilingual Spanish speakers highly encouraged to apply

  • Self-starter mindset with entrepreneurial drive

  • Familiarity with the Elgin market or surrounding area a plus
